The Wallflowers series in general is pretty solid, and this is easily the best book of the series. I do think a reader could pick up this 3rd book of the series and enjoy it without having read the earlier books, but having stated that I also have to say that I think a reader would get more out of this third book were s/he to read at least the /5().
